Dr. Yusuf Daud
Founder of the SophiaCitra Institute (SCI), Indonesia
Dr. Yusuf Daud, M.H.I., M.Ud., Ph.D. is an internationally recognized scholar, Sufi practitioner, and expert in Islamic Mysticism, interfaith dialogue, intercultural engagement, and peacebuilding. He has served as a visiting lecturer at numerous universities and seminaries and has conducted training programs across Asia, Europe, Africa, and North America. A recipient of the prestigious Nostra Aetate Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue Scholarship from the Vatican, Dr. Daud is the founder of the SophiaCitra Institute (SCI) in Indonesia and has authored several books on Islamic spirituality, comparative religion, and peacebuilding. His expertise and global experience significantly contribute to TIRC’s mission of promoting authentic Islamic scholarship, social harmony, and constructive dialogue.
Dr. Evita Yuliatul Wahidah
Associate Professor of Islamic Education at Muhammadiyah University Yogyakarta, Indonesia
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Evita Yuliatul Wahidah is an Indonesian scholar of Islamic Studies, Islamic Education, Psychology, and Civilization, currently serving at Muhammadiyah University Yogyakarta. With extensive experience in teaching, research, and international academic collaboration, she has authored numerous books and peer-reviewed publications on Islamic education, psychology, religious moderation, multiculturalism, and Qur’anic studies. Her academic expertise and commitment to promoting Islamic scholarship, educational excellence, and intercultural understanding provide valuable guidance to TIRC’s mission of advancing research, dialogue, and social harmony.
Dr. Muhammet Caner Ilgaroglu
Professor of Islamic Philosophy at Ege University, Türkiye
Prof. Dr. Muhammet Caner Ilgaroglu is Professor of Islamic Philosophy at Ege University, Türkiye, and a former Visiting Scholar at SOAS University of London. An internationally recognized scholar, his research focuses on Islamic philosophy, ethics, metaphysics, value theory, and contemporary Islamic thought. He has authored several scholarly books, published extensively in leading academic journals, and led multiple research projects. Through his international teaching, research collaborations, and public engagement, Prof. Ilgaroglu contributes valuable expertise to TIRC’s mission of advancing Islamic scholarship, intellectual dialogue, and academic excellence.
Dr. Chen Jianrong
Vice Dean & Director of the Institute for Peace and Conflict Studies at Jinan University, Guangzhou, China
Dr. Chen Jianrong is Vice Dean of the Department of International Relations and Director of the Institute for Peace and Conflict Studies at Jinan University, Guangzhou, China. A distinguished scholar of international relations, peacebuilding, and conflict transformation, he founded China’s first Institute for Peace and Conflict Studies in 2012. Dr. Chen has served as a Rotary Peace Fellow, an International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) Fellow of the U.S. Department of State, and a visiting scholar in Thailand and the United States. His expertise in peace studies, conflict resolution, and peace education brings valuable international perspectives to TIRC’s mission of promoting dialogue, social harmony, and sustainable peace through research and education.
