A training workshop on social media activities was conducted on the theme “Responsible Use of Social Media with a focus on Social Cohesion and Diversity.” The session was organized to educate participants on ethical and responsible digital practices, with special emphasis on promoting harmony, inclusivity, and respect for diversity in online spaces. The workshop aimed to strengthen positive social media engagement for building a more cohesive society.
One-Day Training Workshop on Religious Diversity & Countering Hate Speech for Journalists-July 2024
A one-day training workshop was conducted with media journalists from Gujratwala on the theme of Religious Diversity and Countering Hate Speech. The session was held at Taj Islamic Research Center (TIRC) in collaboration with Organization for Research and Education (ORE). The workshop aimed to enhance journalists’ understanding of responsible media practices, interfaith sensitivity, and effective strategies to counter hate speech in society.
Art Competition on “Unity in Diversity: Celebrating Pakistan’s Multifaith Harmony”-June 2024
An art competition was successfully organized at Government Mian Rehmat Ali College, Gujranwala, in collaboration with Taj Islamic Research Center (TIRC) and Organization for Research and Education (ORE). The event, themed “Unity in Diversity: Celebrating Pakistan’s Multifaith Harmony,” encouraged students to creatively express interfaith harmony, cultural diversity, and shared values that promote unity in Pakistan’s pluralistic society.
